Larsdrejare
The
Larsdrejare ceramic factory is located in Southern Sweden on the west coast in the small town of Laholm, a community known for its old ceramic traditions.
It was here that Sweden's oldest kiln was found here, dating back to the 12th century.
Lars started as a ceramic apprentice at the age of 16. He worked for may years in ceramic production developing and honing his unique skill. Today he and his wife run their own factory and
gift shop from their home. The result is pottery with a wonderful blend of functionality and beauty. The thunder blue glaze is
the product of many years of experimentation, mixing minerals with metal oxide to
achieve the perfect color and glaze.
