The Moose
With nearly 300,000 roaming its forest, Sweden has the highest population density of moose in the world. A third of theses are killed during the annual hunt but the reproduction is the fastest on the planet and the same amount of moose stalk the forests the following autumn. The moose is known as the King of the Forest, a worthy title for Sweden's big game that is the largest land animal in Europe alongside the polar bear.
